Barn Hop #79

Welcome to the Monday Homestead Barn Hop where you're invited to link up your blog with your very best post of the week; something happening at your homestead or something of interest that will help benefit fellow homesteaders. Plus, each of the 3 Homestead Barn Hop hostess selects her favorite post of the week to highlight the following week. So be sure to visit all three blogs because the "Featured Homestead" could be YOURS!
Today I'm going to do something just a bit different. I'm featuring three different bloggers who all posted on something similar... pumpkin drinks! Fall is just around the corner and my garden is full of pumpkins in various shades of white, green, and orange (I'm assuming those green orbs will turn eventually). Do you get as excited about autumn as I do? (My favorite season!) Even if the weather is still warm in your neck of the woods, there's a pumpkin drink for everyone!

The first recipe (#1) is for a Pumpkin Pie Smoothie from Quiver Full of Blessings.

"Unlike some of my other dessert recipes, this one is actually pretty healthy for you. I whipped this up yesterday when it was pretty hot and humid. Needless to say, it was pretty refreshing AND tasty."

Recipe #2 is for a Pumpkin Pie Milkshake from The Chick-n-Coop

"I'm seriously in the fall mood. I LOVE this time of year! I have a few bags of pumpkin left over in the freezer from last year to use up in order to make room for this years harvest, so milkshakes it is!"

And last, but certainly not least, is recipe #3...  is for a Pumpkin Pie Milkshake from The Chick-n-Coop

"The last few days it has felt like fall here! It's been awesome. I busted out the Uggs and scarves! I don't care if its not really fall; I've been pretending it has been for weeks! I love fall and love pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks... I can make them for much cheaper at home and you don't need any super fancy equipment. "

Be sure to check out my pumpkin cookie recipe this week. It's really more like a scone, but shaped like a cookie, and... well, you'll just have to make them and see for yourself. But what I CAN say for certain is that they're delicious!

If you've been featured in the past...

If you've been a featured blogger on the Barn Hop, either today or in the past, we now have a special button for you should you wish to add it to your sidebar stating that you've been a featured blogger! You can find it on my button page by clicking the hen with the blue barn on my sidebar that says "HR Buttons". It's a good idea to link it back to the page where you were featured so your readers can see where you're actually mentioned. (These buttons do not have a code since it needs to be linked to the page you're featured in and it will change from week to week. Just copy the button or drag it to your desktop).
